This qualification is aimed at practising and aspiring middle managers who wish to gain skills in a range of business and administrative management areas. The course builds on the knowledge, understanding and skills that candidates developed at level 4 by exploring in greater detail how businesses design and operate internal structures and systems. You will be introduced to topics concerning the strategic administration of employees, finance, information and other key resources, and will become familiar with research theories and techniques as you complete a range of assessments including a business research project.
Credit value: 120
Unit groups 1-3 are assessed by examinations or written assignments. Unit group 4 is assessed by a business research project. Optional units are assessed by a written assignment.
